Flora Eckert Hammat Original Pottery, circa 1950s
This stunning pottery bowl, circa 1950s, was made by mid century ceramics artist Flora Eckert Hammat.
Natural pottery on the outside; bluish green glaze on the inside. Appropriate for displaying on a table or for use as a serving piece.
Measures approximately 14" in diameter and 2" in height at its highest point. Signed by the artist, with name and "#605."
What we know about the artist:
-Well known and respected mid century ceramics artist
-Owner of and designer for Hammat Originals
-My research found a listing that says Neiman Marcus used to carry Hammat Originals, though I have not been able to confirm this
-A piece of Hammat original pottery currently lists for $495 on Chairish
