Cobalt Sydenstricker Glass “Suncatcher” Plate
Sydenstricker Glass was founded in the 1960s on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. At that time, Bill Sydenstricker was honing a new craft using pieces of cut glass fused together to make innovative glass designs. His process is still used today at the company’s headquarters in Brewster, MA (on the Cape). In fact, many of the original molds and stencil designs are still in production.
This round serving plate carries the blue Embassy design, which is Sydenstricker’s most popular. Gorgeous as a serving plate and a wall hanging when not being used on the table.
